Gosh, you’re so human all the time…

Filled with thoughts, questions and quotes (among them “Prayer is not an old woman’s idle amusement. Properly understood and applied it is the most potent instrument of action.” Mahtma Gandhi)

So, um, you should just get it. And stick it in your desk for your lunch break, stash it in the car for when you’re picking up a kid from school or soccer practice, for when you’re waiting in the drive through, or hiding from your children in the garage (I’ve never done that). Or put it in the bathroom if you pee a million times a day like I do, and now you can look forward to 30 seconds of something that is more fun than peeing!

It’s perfect for the short attention span like mine, and it’s not even meant to be read cover to cover, just open, read a few quotes from ancient philosophers and reality tv stars alike. Ask yourself some of the questions, and put it down in the middle of a page and resume your life with a little more umph than you had thirty seconds before (and for me, a little less, err, pee I guess).

Too much information? Hey, as Dr. Suess says “Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.”

I agree.

Isn't Rainn Wilson on The Office? Love the Dr. Suess quote!
