‘Bee-fore’ and after

Except it’s not anything as nice as bee’s. Enjoy. :)

Again, it’s stitched on recycled fabric with thread and yarn I purchased at an estate sale on Sunday along with a mourning veil from the 20’s that I trimmed a little so I could make the wings.

No, I won’t bore you with everything I make on my blog, but I did think you should know that my children are not the only weird things I’ve ever made.

So cool! I didn't know flies could be so pretty. A woman of many talents, you are.

And don't worry, I know you well enough to know you make lots of weird things. ;P Just kidding.

As you can see from my own life, I always think it's a good idea to try to make things that make your kids look less weird by comparison. You've succeeded!

Oh, and you already know that I think this is awesome!

You are making me want to get out my stitching and make something fun! Thanks for the inspiration! And I love how you even made their legs look creepy! :)

How cool is that!! (I know, no one outside of Utah says that anymore, your "Hip and Vintage" CA girls will just have to be OK with it.) I would never have thought to do something like that.

Very crafty and original of you. I hope you found just the right spot in your house to hang it on the wall.
